”This isn’t goodbye Even If I watch you leave This isn’t goodbye I swear I wont cry Even as tears fills my eyes I swear I wont cry” Shane
was standing at the train station and looking after the train that just had
started to move. Then he saw how Robyn’s head got stuck out from one of the
windows. Her black hair started to move with the motions of the train. She waved
to him and he raised his hand to wave back, but her head disappeared before he
managed to do so. He
felt how his eyes filled with tears… and he told himself that this wasn’t a
goodbye.. that they would meet again, he just didn’t know when they would see
each other again.. He shook his head when the tears threatened to start and
fall… he would not cry… no he wouldn’t. ”Any other girl I’d let you walk away Any other girl I’m sure I’d be OK” He
felt empty… Shane had let other girl to walk out of his life, but he had never
felt for them as he had felt for Robyn… If it had been one of the other girls,
he knew in his heart that he would be OK after a while. ”Tell
me what makes a man wanna give you all his heart Smile when you’re around And cry when you’re apart If you know what makes a man wanna live you the way I do Girl you gotta let me know So I can get over you” The
train had now left the station and his hazel-green eyes starred out in the
horizon. ”I
want a man Shane…” she had said to
him. But what was it that made a man? Wasn’t it enough that he wanted to give
Robyn all his heart? He wanted to smile as soon as she was around him.. she had
made him feel happy, made him feel special. And when they had been apart he had
always been on the verge to start and cry, especially when he had seen something
that had reminded him of her. He
had wanted to ask her what made a boy to a man.. but he hadn’t been able to
ask her that question even if he wanted to hear her answer… even if it was so
that he would get over her, but that would be hard ”What makes her so right? Is it the sound of her laugh? That look in her eyes? When do you decide she is the dream that you seek? That force in your life” ”What
is it that makes her so right towards the other girls?” Shane asked himself as
he started to walk towards the entrance of the station. When
was she supposed to know? Supposed to know that she was the dream he always had
been looking for? That force in his life that made him want to get out of bed
every morning… even after just some few hours sleep? He just didn’t know… ”When you apologise No matter who was wrong When you get on your knees If that would bring her home” As
he sat in the car, he picked up his mobile phone and dialled a number… He
needed to talk to his mum more then ever at this moment. ”Hello?”
He heard her voice at the other side of the line say as she answered the call. ”Hey
ma! It’s me Shane.. There is something that I have to ask you..” He said and
hesitated a little. ”Yeah,
sure what is it?” his mum said. ”How
did you know that da was the right person for you? I mean… you must have known
if he was the right person in some way…” ”I
felt it in my heart Shane.. Your dad always made my heart to beat faster.” Shane
sighed ”How will I know if a girl is right for me ma?? Do you know?” ”Have
you ever apologised to her after and argue no matter if it had been her fault or
yours?” His mum answered him after a quiet moment, but she never gave him the
chance to answer as she continued: ”Have you ever got down on you own knees in
a try to get her back him after you two had broken up the relationship in anger?
When you have done it Shane.. then you know that the girl is the right for
you.” ”Tell me what makes a man Wanna give you all his heart Smile when you’re around And cry when you’re apart If you know what makes a man Wanna love you the way I do Girl you gotta let me know So that I can get over you” ”Robyn
said she wanted a man ma.. what is the difference anyway? I don’t get it..”
Shane sighed. He
heard his mum sigh too: ”I don’t know sweetie… Everyone has there on
description on that. I can’t answer in Robyn’s place:” ”Thanks
ma… I’ll be home in some hours.. Bye:” ”Bye
see you then.” And
with that Shane closed his phone. It hadn’t been enough that he had wanted to
give her all his heart… that every time she had been near him, he had smiled
and laughed. He had felt whole… she had been his everything. The reason to why
he had cried when he had been alone.. it just hadn’t been enough. He
so needed to know what made a man, so that he would get over her.. Now when he
thought about it, he know that it would be hard almost impossible. ”Other girls will come along They always do But what is he point When all I ever want is you? Tell me…” With
a sigh Shane started his car and drove out from the station. He
told himself that he had to continue his life. He knew that he would manage it,
he just had to be strong. He
would date other girl, that was one thing he was sure off. He would find
someone. But what was the meaning when Robyn was the one he wanted? As
soon as he thought on her, the image of her night black hair and emerald green
eyes appeared in front of him. She was the only girl he wanted to have, but he
would never get her… ”I
will meet someone else.” Shane said loudly and this time that promise sounded
much stronger then it had done the last time. ”I will find someone…” ”Tell me what makes a man I wanna give you all his heart Smile when you’re around And cry when you’re apart If you know what makes a man Wanna love you the way I do Girl you gotta let me know So that I can get over you” |
