Welcome to the section for the chat room, that is found on the Undernet server, called #westlifers. Hopefully this section will answer all of your questions that may be asked, helping you to be able to get into the chat room!

How To Connect

Welcome to the section of the site that is all about the official Undernet chat channel, for all the Westlife fans! So if you want to have a chat with some other fans across the world, this is the place to be!

This section will guide you through some of the most common features of the channel, so that you don’t feel completely lost when making your first visit!

How to connect to the channel #westlifers?

1) To download mIRC, click here
you can also use our special Westlife script, which works in the same way as this one, to download this, click here

2) Now you should go to where the program was saved in your PC and make a double click in it. The program will install itself at that very moment. After installing it you should click on it and a window with a man' s face will appear on your screen, you should close that window.

How to enter #westlifers

Now that you already have mIRC, the next thing you should click it' s the SET UP, and this is what you should do:
Click in an down arrow, and there' s a list of servers that will show up, you shall choose one of the UNDERNET ones (The one that is near to you).

Next you should write your name where it's written "Full name", (first name only will do) followed by your e-mail or anything else for instance me@home, then your nick and that will be the name that you'll be known in the chat channel. You must put an alternative nick in case the one you first choose is in use.
After that you click in CONNECT TO SERVER and you'll enter in mIRC.
As soon as you enter, please find in the part of the program, near the top of the screen, there are some  icon’s the one that you need is the one that says "Channels folder" go to it,  and click on there. A window will show up with an empty space above where you should write: #westlifers

Rules

Like everything to keep things running smoothly there has to be rules, there is not that many so we do ask that you take extra care to keep to them.

1.      The only acceptable language for use in the channel is English. This is because it is the one language that is understood by most of the people in the room at any one time. Obviously if there are only people that speak the same language in the chat room at any one time well then you can speak that language, until you are told that there is someone that doesn’t understand! Remember this is so that all the members of the chat room will get the chance to be friendly to everyone!

2.       Do not ask other @ (ops) to give you an @ (op status). Doing so on more than one occasion will result in a ban from the channel.

3.      No calling of any of the members of Westlife or the members of the channel. Doing so will also result being kicked and/or banned. Especially when after asked to stop it is carried on.

4.      No asking for op (+@) or voice (+v) you will not get these if you ask!! for a (+v) the channel needs to be set on moderated, which the channel never is, so you always will have a voice!

5.      do not slag of in anyway any of westlife's girlfriends, partners or soon to be wife's

6.      If you are using remotes in the channel, and a lot of other people have them also, this could make the channel very confusing so we do ask that if anyone of the channel members requests to have these remotes switched of that you obey this command, and do so.

7.     if you are using colored text.. please don’t use colors that annoy the other people, in the channel.. for example yellow on white

If for any reason there maybe some more rules made in the future, but as of now that is all the rules that will be taken into consideration by our, operator team! Thank You!
